Alma's farmers are not just suppliers, they inspire the entire menu's design. The pop-up turned brick & mortar's dedicated owners, Chef Ari Taymor and Ashleigh Parsons, make daily trips to the Venice, Santa Monica or Hollywood farmers' markets, in addition to literally "hand-picked" uniquely local ingredients, courtesy of their personal forager. These seasonally-driven works of art are composed of 90% organic produce and accompanied by completely hormone- antibiotic- free meats and sustainably farmed seafood from the best local suppliers. And their efforts are not only for those who can afford it - Ashleigh is using her Harvard University education degree to head up a community outreach program, providing nutrition-focused monthly cooking classes to local schools.
