This shake is Jennifer Rossano’s go-to for pre- or post-workout fuel.

Pre- Or Post-Workout Shake

  • Serves: 1

  • 1 banana
  • 1 cup almond milk
  • 1 tbsp peanut butter
  • 1 tbsp cacao powder
  • 1 scoop plant-based chocolate protein powder (Trader Joe's has a great organic hemp seed protein powder that I like and use often)
  • Ice as desired
  • Optional: 1-2 cups of spinach or half of a green zucchini


  1. Blend until smooth.
