The Instant Pot is typically seen as a wintertime staple for making hearty soups, chilis, and meat dishes that will warm you up. Yet, you can also use your Instant Pot or pressure cooker for a summer meal, such as tacos, lemon chicken, and even a soup that’s more fitting for those warmer months. The Instant Pot makes meal prep, cook time and weeknight meals a breeze, since you can put all the ingredients in and let it do its thing while you’re out and about enjoying the sunshine. Here are five delicious recipes that use summer’s finest picks and that will taste great at any outdoor bbq.

Chicken lettuce cups, instead of chicken tortillas, work well for summer instant pot recipes that are low-carb and packed with flavor. Jamaican Jerk Vegan Tacos from Love & Lemons

Tacos are the ultimate backyard summer bbq food, and these vegan tacos are free of meat and dairy but use jackfruit to give it that meaty, thick texture. If you’re not vegan, swap for pork and make carnitas.
