Upper West Side vegans, rejoice! The Zagat-rated vegan oasis of a restaurant, Candle 79, has just opened its newest addition to the Candle clan this month, giving Candle Café on the Upper East Side a little sibling on the Upper West.

Located on Broadway and 89th Street, Candle Café West opened with a majority of the menu reflecting the original Candle Café selections. There are also some new items and a few Candle 79 favorites, owner Joy Pierson said in a piece on Well + Good. Delivery and take-out are available.

The Yelp page for the new location has received rave reviews and Candle Café’s Facebook fans sound excited—and relieved—by the new addition to the west side. Here are a few comments from its new “Life Event” post:

“Congratulations — I still remember the Healthy Candle! You people are astoundingly creative and blessed!”

“Took out from Candle West tonight — delicious as always! We’re so glad you’re open on the West Side.”

Here’s one Facebook comment we can’t help but echo: “Candle Brooklyn coming next right? ;-)”
