Founder Matthew Kenney is hoping the success his living foods, plant-based empire has experienced in Chicago and Oklahoma City will duplicate itself on the West Coast. So far, so raw, so good. The M.A.K.E. menu is Cal-Med meets pan-Asian; so far diners are raving about the wild mushroom tacos with mole and the market tomato lasagna. M.A.K.E. also comes alongside the Matthew Kenney Academy, his culinary school which attracts raw food disciples from around the world.
